Set in an elevated position, this magnificent stone-built villa dominates an impressive location amongst attractive gardens, flanked by areas of natural woodland.
As you approach Villa Pupillo Villa in Florence along a long drive, you cannot fail to be impressed by the massiveness of the building and the enormous infinity-edged south facing pool, which is surrounded by extensive furnished sun terraces and flanked by a rose garden and a number of old olive trees.
Villa Pupillo Ground Floor
The entrance into Pupillo is through a wonderful traditional half-moon door which leads into an extensive living area decorated in a cool contemporary style, with pastel washed walls and stone floors contrasting with the massive beams of the ceiling.
The living area combines a number of formal and informal eating and sitting areas and has a wonderful large fireplace. The focus of the spacious room is the two enormous half-moon windows that overlook the lawns that run down to the rose garden and the pool area.
The living area is well equipped with Satellite television, DVD player, CD player, and wi-fi. Off of the living area is a well-equipped kitchen which has a feature sink and some exquisite tiles as well as every possible piece of equipment for the most demanding cook. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cloakroom which has some distinctive earthenware wash hand basins.
Reception area with double dining area (comfortably accommodates the full 16 guests of the house or up to 40 guests for parties) and sitting area. Guest/Staff Bathroom Kitchen: 6 ringed gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine.
Two dining room tables to seat 16. Fireplace with built-in seating, sitting area with sofas and easy chairs.
On the ground floor, there are two spacious double bedrooms each with an en suite shower room each of which is decorated and furnished in the very distinctive style of the villa.
First Floor: there are 6 double and twin bedrooms.
To the side of the villa overlooking the gardens and parts of the estate is a fully furnished loggia which is perfect for long leisurely al fresco meals. To the front of the villa are the gardens which slope down to the wonderful pool area.
The massive infinity-edge swimming pool has a Jacuzzi and hydro massage area at each end and is surrounded by extensive furnished sun terraces with far-reaching views over the estate and the surrounding countryside.
