Beautiful Autumn Wedding in Tuscany: Burnt Orange & Eggplant Calla Lilies
A Dream Born in Italy
Standing in my parents’ kitchen 16 years ago, I was flipping through the basket of Christmas cards our family had received when one image stopped me in my tracks — a photograph of a joyful couple walking down a cobblestone street in Italy, just after saying “I do.” I remember pulling the card out and showing it to my parents, saying, “That’s where I want to get married someday.” My dad smiled and said, “If you don’t mind having a small wedding, and as long as it stays within your budget, you can get married in Italy.” That moment stayed with me for years — and that’s when the dream of an Italian wedding in Tuscany began.
From a Dream to Reality
Fast forward thirteen years, and I met the man of my dreams. After a year and a half of love, laughter, and an unforgettable meal, Billy proposed — and we immediately began planning our wedding. Billy had always imagined a destination wedding, though he was initially leaning toward something tropical. But when I told him about my long-held dream of a romantic wedding in Italy, surrounded by our families and the colors of autumn, he was all in.
Planning Our Autumn Wedding in Tuscany
The TuscanDream team made the entire planning process seamless and stress-free. Ric helped us select the most breathtaking venue — Villa Spino, a charming and elegant Tuscan villa that felt straight out of a fairytale. Once the venue was chosen, Carolina and her team of Tuscan wedding coordinators took care of every detail. I simply told Carolina our wedding colors — burnt orange and deep eggplant, inspired by the beautiful hues of Tuscany in autumn — and described the flowers I loved, especially calla lilies. She and her team brought that vision to life with warmth, precision, and incredible taste.
A Day Filled with Color, Love & Beauty
The villa’s gardens glowed in the golden light of late October, perfectly complementing our color palette. From the floral arrangements of burnt orange and eggplant calla lilies to the soft candlelight on the dinner tables, everything felt perfectly balanced — elegant, romantic, and deeply personal. Of course, like every bride, I had my moments of worry — especially about the paperwork and logistics of getting married abroad — but Carolina and her team were always there to reassure and guide me. Every detail came together beautifully, and our autumn wedding in Tuscany was everything I had ever dreamed of.
Gratitude and Memories
We are endlessly thankful to TuscanDream, Ric, Carolina, and the entire team for creating such a magical experience. From the first moment to the final dance, our Villa Spino wedding was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Dreams really do come true — sometimes they just take sixteen years to bloom.
