Villa Musetta is a historical property of the late 15th century, set in a private 100-acre estate, on the hills near Lucca, with swimming pool, olive groves, fresh grown vegetables, paths and walks through the private woodlands and natural streams.

The estate is composed by two buildings: a beautifully restored villa with three floors, elevator, 5 bedrooms and spacious bathrooms with spa facilities, and a classic Tuscan 18th century farmhouse with a game room, kitchen with open fireplace and 2 bedrooms for total 7 bedrooms villa for rent near Lucca.

Villa Musetta, one of the best villas to rent near Lucca, is set in a marvellous Italian garden lined by cypresses and palm trees, a unique mélange of tradition and exoticism, and the garden is surrounded by elegant boxwood hedges.

Beyond the olive trees, along a cypress-lined path, one reaches the high end of the garden, featuring a sweeping panorama across the Lucca valley, a 56 by 23 feet (17 mt x 7 m) swimming pool, sunning area and Balinese massage pavilion.

Next to the pool is a covered Bali-style Summer Kitchen, where you can relax sipping a glass of red wine while admiring the spectacular views, or where you may enjoy a lunch in the open air served at the sandstone dining table.

There is also a kitchen area with two refrigerators and an automatic ice machine.

THE VILLA

Villa Musetta, one of the best villas for rent near Lucca, is a three-story building, with 750 square meters of livable space. On the imposing façade there are numerous doors and windows that make for a luminous interior. At the center of the façade is a grey sandstone balcony that overlooks an olive grove. The floors are connected by a large stairway, the main part of which is the original stone from the early 1500s, and also by a small elevator.

FARMHOUSE

Adjoining the villa is a 220 square meters traditional Tuscan farmhouse, or “casa colonica”, with a large courtyard featuring a fountain and an abundance of bougainvillea, jasmine and colorful hydrangea.

Since the villa and farmhouse each have kitchens, and both give on to the courtyard, this is perhaps everyone’s favorite relaxation area, with a comfortable outdoor lounge for cocktails and a large sandstone table that is very popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The farmhouse develops three floors.

Ground floor (no airconditioning)

The ground floor has a media/gaming room, a fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace, laundry room (washer and dryer) and a guest bathroom.

First floor – sleeps 2

On the first floor there is one double bedroom (only double) with bathroom with bathtub and shower head.

This floor is air conditioned.

Top floor – sleeps 2
