Adjacent to the one-thousand-year-old church of Sant Bartolomeo, this mini-castle presides over beautiful gardens, a lovely swimming pool, acres of olive groves, roses, and herb plants. This charming Chianti air-conditioned villa is well-furnished and combines Tuscan antiques with modern furniture to provide the maximum of comfort and beauty for its guests.
The grounds are gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Castellare was built over four hundred years ago by the Sernigi family, famed for their patronage of many great masters of the Renaissance art movement. About fifty years ago, the property was purchased by the Corti family and lovingly restored to its original brilliance using a fusion of Tuscan antiques and modern art to create a minimalist architectural statement.

Starting in 2025, adjacent to this Chianti air-conditioned villa, a newly renovated guest house with 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms will be available for rent together with the main villa. The two buildings together will be able to sleep a total of 22 people on the premises. The estate is perfect for family vacations, small weddings, and retreats.
