Property Description

Amidst the award-winning vineyards of Chianti’s fertile Val d’Ambra region, the magnificent ten-bedroom 16th Century Villa Spino is one of the most elegant and beautifully furnished large villas in the region. It is a villa of historical importance – it was built by the Medici family, the family that financed and inspired the Renaissance. This phenomenal mansion offers inspiring views over the vineyards and rolling hills of Chianti and is an inspiring place to relax and call home – even if it is for just one week!

Villa Spino embodies Tuscan luxury and is blessed with large living and sitting rooms, perfect for yoga retreats, family reunions, gatherings of friends, weddings, and corporate events. Beautifully maintained, it has been owned by a Florentine design family who have preserved the historical charm of this splendid villa by augmenting the oak beams and cotto brick floors with exquisite antiques which are elegant but at the same time comfortable. The stone walls are adorned with beautiful original paintings and lithographs collected over the family’s rich history. The linens and textiles used at Spino are of the highest quality.

The villa can be rented without any services, or if you prefer, TuscanDream can provide you with daily chef service, daily maid service, and English-speaking concierge services. We also offer yoga retreat packages that include daily cleaning, brunches, and dinners. Villa Spino is one of TuscanDream’s favourite villas, one which we have rented ourselves for our own holidays – and recommend it highly!

Main Villa – 6 double bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom – sleeps 12 people

Two of these bedrooms also have a small loft with a sofa bed each of which can sleep two children. Finally there is the master suite, feature a beautiful canopy king sized bed an ante room, and both a shower and a Jacuzzi bathtub.
