Beautiful Autumn Colors – Burnt Orange & Eggplant Calla Lillies Standing in my parents kitchen 16 years ago going through the Christmas card basket looking at all the cards sent to our family, I come across one that I will always remember. It is a picture of a happy couple walking down the cobble stone streets of Italy after just getting married. I pull that card out of the basket and show it to my parents telling them that I want to get married in Italy when the time comes. “If you don’t mind having a small wedding and as long as it stays within your budget, you can get married in Italy” is what my Dad told me. That image has stayed with me ever since and the dream of a wedding in Italy was born. Fast forward 13 years and I meet the man of my dreams and we start talking about marriage. A year and a half and an amazing meal later, he proposes and the wheels begin to be put in motion. Billy said that he wanted to have a destination wedding, but he was thinking something more tropical. I began telling him about the dream I had of a beautiful Italian wedding with our family present, and he was all for it. THANK YOU! The team of Tuscan Dream made planning the wedding so easy. Ric helped us choose the most breathtaking Villa, Villa Spino, and Carolina and her team of Wedding Coordinators did the rest. All I had to do was tell Carolina what our colors were and the types of flowers I wanted, and she took care of the rest. There were some instances when my stress levels rose and I was worried that the paperwork was not going to come through correctly, but Carolina and her team were there to reassure me and help with everything and it all worked out perfectly.
