WEDDING RECEPTION: Located deep in the heart of Chianti, and only twenty minutes from Florence, this majestic castle which traces its history back to the 12th century, is a fabulous venue for brides and grooms to experience all the joys and romance of a spectacular castle wedding! Walking through the castle’s impressive gates one almost senses the presence of the historical figures from the Renaissance who must have passed through this splendid estate on their way between Florence and Siena.

Music & Dancing – dancing up until 12:30 A.M., however if the couple wish to extend, as long as the castle has been notified in advance, it can be extended by paying an extra per hour.

ACCOMMODATION: The castle is perfect for weddings of up to 120 people, and can sleep up to 37 people. Guests may easily commute between Florence and the castle, and there is additional accommodation, villas, five star hotels, and charming bed and breakfasts nearby. Three day minimum stay required.

CIVIL & RELIGIOUS CEREMONY: There is a small consecrated church which can hold 30 people on site, or there is a parish church in the nearby village. Civil ceremonies may be celebrated outdoors on the historic town wall of Certaldo or indoors either at Certaldo Town Hall or at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. A symbolic blessings can be held for 120 people right in front of the castle.
