The courtyard leads into the main entrance of Villa dell’Angelo. In a niche on the left hand wall there is a precious terracotta Madonna with child, created in the 17th century. Two 18th century walnut doors open onto a built-in wardrobe. On the wall in front of the entrance there is a Louis XV credenza and 2 small Louis XVI Lucca chairs. Above the credenza is a late 18th century mirror painted green and gold. There is a large lounge-dining room which seats up to 14 people and has a large 15th century fireplace with lounges and armchairs. There is also a lovely view of the garden and pool area as well as views looking up to the old town (the original town) of Monsummano Alto. The eighty square meter lounge has to the right a large 18th century dining table with eight walnut chairs and 2 armchairs covered in velvet There is also a 16th century wardrobe with 2 large drawers where crockery and glassware etc are kept. Between the two sections of the room there is an elegant Louis XV walnut table. To the left of the lounge room there is an enormous 16th century Lombard stone fireplace. In front of the fireplace there are 2 large armchairs and 2 large triple divans. Antique paintings and lamps and Persian carpets complete the furnishings. The room has double doors leading into the garden.
The pool is eight by sixteen meters and has a large hydro massage area for 8 people. It is on a natural terrace a few meters below the level of the villa and has a magnificent and almost theatrical view over the valley.
